I associate the R1b1b2 haplogroup with the Celtic farmers who founded all of the now fallen civilizations of southern Europe, e.g., ancient Greece and Rome. Most of those who do not belong to the R1b1b2 haplogroup belong to the - I - haplogroup, probably because a large percentage of the genes of the Scots (and my mitochondrial haplogroup, - T2b - came from the Vikings. i.e, the Baltic area.
